Vibrofix is a group of special mounting elements designed to solve problems in the field of acoustic and vibration protection in industrial and civil engineering.
Vibrofix sound insulation and anti-vibration mounts were developed by science and technology division of Acoustic Traffic in collaboration with design bureau Acoustic Project based on extensive experience in the design of acoustic insulation constructions and the results of a large number of laboratory studies and field measurements.
The development process included the experience of the application of similar anti-vibration mounts in the USA, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, to which effect a special research work was done.
One of the main design goals was to achieve full compatibility Vibrofix mounting system with Knauf drywall system. Therefore, acoustic performance and workloads of the mounts were designed so that to meet the requirements of Knauf detailed sheets. Usage of mounts when installing sound-insulating frame structures (per 1 sq.m) corresponds to the sets of Knauf working drawings (Series 1.073.9-2.00 "Knauf Turnkey Systems. Facings", Series 1.045.9-2.00 " Knauf Turnkey Systems. Suspended Ceilings").

As the elastic element in the design of sound-insulating mounts a unique material is used – Sylomer (Austria) – a micro-cellular polyurethane elastomer specifically designed to solve the problems in the field of vibration protection, and special elastomers based of synthetic rubber.
Vibrofix mounts are serially produced at the production facilities of Acoustic Traffic and presented to the markets of Ukraine and Russia. To date, by the acoustic efficiency and an integrated approach to solving the problem of protection against noise and vibration Vibrofix Mounts are unparalleled in the CIS market.
Original designs of Vibrofix mounts are protected by international patents (Patent UA# 41396, Patent UA # 47822, Patent # 95692RU, Patent # 95693RU).
Mounts have a large number of modifications differing in application, design and type of elastic element used.

According to the results of certification tests Vibrofix mounts in terms of acoustic performance meet the requirements of:
- SNiP 23-03-2003 "Noise Control",
- SNiP II-12-77 "Noise Control",
- GOST 23499-79 "Sound-absorbing and sound-insulating building materials and products. Classification and general technical requirements". Mounts are recommended for use in construction.

Vibrofix sound insulation mounts is a universal solution of a wide range of problems in sound insulation and vibration protection in the field of architectural and building acoustics.
High sound insulation performance of Vibrofix® mounts is confirmed by the certificates of tests carried out in Acoustics Labs "Ukrmetrteststandart" (Ukraine), NIISK (Ukraine), NIISF (Russia), as well as by the results of tests at the Research Center Getzner Werkstoffe GmbH (Austria).
• Frequency characteristics
Due to the low value of the resonance frequency (6 to 10 Hz) Vibrofix mounts provide efficient sound insulation for building structures and vibration insulation for engineering equipment in a wide frequency range
• Durability
Under static loads most of the materials partly lose their elastic properties over time. The design of Vibrofix mounts includes elastic elements of high-performance anti-vibration material Sylomer®, the properties of which vary only slightly for a long period of time, and even after 30 years the mounts do not lose their efficiency
