Sylodyn® is an elastomer with a closed-cell structure. Sylodyn® polyurethane materials have exceptionally high-performance dynamic properties. 
Support elements made of Sylodyn® are used for vibration isolation of track structures, light rails and subway lines.

Sylodyn® can be also applied for isolation of structure borne noise in the constructions of floor and staircases, for isolation building foundations, engineering equipment, industrial plants and machinery, as well as in sound-insulating constructions of walls, ceiling and floor. 

Getzner Werkstoffe GmbH manufactures five various grades of Sylodyn® for virtually any design loads. 

For special conditions the materials may manufactured with specified characteristics meeting the requirements of a particular customer.
The material is not susceptible to hydrolysis and exposure to dilute alkalis, acids, solvents and oils, withstands long-term cyclic loads (more than 2 million cycles). When exposed to prolonged static load the material does not lose its properties for more than 30 years.
